Moroccan cooperatives and investors are expected to participate in Prague’s international trade fair for cannabis and medicinal herbs Cannafest, the largest exhibition of its kind in the world.
Several cooperatives and investors will head to Prague next month to market Morocco’s legal cannabis.
This comes after the National Agency for the Legalization of Activities Related to Indian Hemp launched global tours to market the Moroccan product and open new markets for the country’s first legal crop.
The agency had already organized this month the first marketing tour to introduce the Moroccan product to the Netherlands, while other tours are expected to be planned.
Last May, the first cannabis seed was legally planted in the Taounate province, in the presence of public authorities. The planting took place in nurseries and covered houses, in the presence of farmers, engineers, and technicians supervising the process.
