Morocco’s FM receives Saudi Minister of Hajj & Umrah

Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, received, her Wednesday, Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, on an official visit to the Kingdom.

During this meeting, Bourita hailed the strong ties uniting the two brotherly Kingdoms and their common will to promote these relations and raise them to higher levels, in accordance with the High Orientations of King Mohammed VI and his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdelaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He also welcomed the level of cooperation and coordination existing between the competent authorities of the two brotherly countries, particularly with regard to the simplification of Hajj and Umrah procedures for Moroccan citizens, welcoming, in this regard, the “Makkah Route” Initiative including Morocco since last year, and which is an action launched by Saudi authorities to serve pilgrims, as part of the “2030 Saudi Vision” program.

For his part, the Saudi minister welcomed the constant partnership and cooperation relations established with Morocco and the common will to develop and strengthen them further to serve the interests of the two brotherly countries.
