Morocco unlikely to repatriate citizens from Israel amid ongoing conflict

The Moroccan government is unlikely to carry out repatriations of its citizens in Israel amid the ongoing conflict, an undisclosed source told MoroccoLatestNews.

The decision is primarily influenced by the relatively small number of Moroccans exclusively holding Moroccan passports, “which does not exceed a few dozen,” the same source noted.

This limited number of Moroccan citizens in Israel likely relocated to other countries, such as Turkey, following the escalation between Israeli forces and Hamas fighters.

The same source highlighted that Moroccans holding both Israeli and Moroccan passports are essentially residents of Israel, making their deportation to Morocco impractical.
