The Kingdom of Morocco affirms its full support for the desire of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to bid to host the final stages of the 2034 Football World Cup, according to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Resident Abroad.
This support stems from the strong ties linking King Mohammed VI, to His brother the Custodian of the Holy Places of Islam, King Salmane Ibn Abdelaziz Al-Saoud, and to Prince Mohammed Ben Salmane Ben Abdelaziz Al-Saoud, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Council of Ministers, the ministry said.
The Kingdom of Morocco, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, is fully convinced of the capacity of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to organize this major sporting event, in view of the country’s overall development momentum and recognized organizational capabilities, the same source concluded.
