The Moroccan electronic football team made an impressive start in the FIFAe Nation Cup, the equivalent of the World Cup, which kicked off on Tuesday in Saudi Arabia (July 11-15), winning three wins and two draws.
After conceding a draw against Malaysia 1-1, Morocco overcame Finland 1-0, before beating Italy 1-0 and the USA 4-1. Finally, the Moroccans drew 2-2 against France, a big chunk of Group B.
At the end of the first day, Morocco finished second in the group with 11 points, level on points with France, which was only ahead on goal difference.
The rest of the competition is scheduled for Wednesday.
