The Moroccan women’s national football team (U20) lost in a friendly (0-2) against its Senegalese counterpart, Wednesday afternoon at the Stade Lat-Dior in Thiès (east of Dakar).
The goals of the Lioncelles de la Teranga were scored by Hapsatou Malado Diallo in the 4th minute after the kick-off of the match, before Sadigatou Diallo broke in the first minute of added time of the match.
A friendly remake between the two selections is scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m. (hl) at the same stadium.
The two meetings are part of the preparations of the Lioncelles of the Atlas and Teranga for the next deadlines.
A total of 25 players have been called up to take part in this double friendly confrontation against Senegal. Eighteen players of the 25 selected come from the biggest European clubs like Ajax Amsterdam (Netherlands), Olympique de Marseille, Toulouse, Olympique Lyon, Montpellier and Nice (France), Anderlecht (Belgium), or again Real Sociedad (Spain). The national championship is also represented in this list with players representing the Phoenix Football Association, the Municipal Club of Laâyoune, Najah Souss, AS FAR, Chabab Atlas Khénifra and Nejm Chabab.
