The Moroccan national e-football team, which is taking part in the FIFAe Nation Cup organized from July 11 to 14 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, qualified in the second round by finishing at the top of group B with 17 points.
After having garnered 11 points in three wins and two draws in the first legs which took place on Tuesday, the national team achieved, on Wednesday in the return matches, a victory over Malaysia (3-1), three draws against Finland (1-1), Italy (1-1) and the United States (2-2), and a landslide victory against France (5-1).
In addition to Morocco, the selections of France, Italy and Finland have also qualified.
This is the national team’s second straight qualification for the FIFAe Nations Series, after being crowned champions of the Africa and Middle East region, beating South Africa in the final.
This electronic tournament takes place in the city of Riyadh under the supervision of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).
The total value of the prizes in this competition is nearly one million dollars, with the winning team to receive $300,000, the second place $150,000, while the third and fourth will win $75,000.
