The Moroccan national football team will face its Malawian counterpart in the round of 16 of the African Cup of Nations (CAN 2021).
Malawi finished in 3rd place in group B, behind Senegal and Guinea, while the Atlas Lions finished the group stage in style, occupying 1st place in group C, after two wins and a draw.
The two selections will face off on Tuesday (25 January) at Stade Ahmadou Ahidjou in Yaoundé.
This is the first time that the Flames have managed to get out of the group stage. Pending the outcome of this group stage, two other posters of the 8th are also known. In addition to Burkina Faso-Gabon, an enticing Senegal-Cape Verde derby will take place.
