Morocco donates a batch of copies of the Holy Quran to the Muslim community in Gabon

Morocco has donated a batch of copies of the Holy Quran to the Muslim community in Gabon. This donation, delivered by the Moroccan ambassador, Abdellah Sbihi, to the Hassan II Grand Mosque in Libreville, was received by the imam of the mosque and president of the Higher Council for Islamic Affairs, Ismael Oceni Ossa.

“We all know Morocco’s attachment to an Islam of peace and tolerance, to a moderate Islam and a happy medium”, highlighted the Moroccan diplomat, inviting the lucky recipients to make good use and distribution of this endowment.

Imam Ismael Oceni Ossa, for his part, thanked Morocco for “this gesture of solidarity”, and expressed the gratitude of the Muslims of Gabon to King Mohammed VI, Amir Al Mouminine.

It should be noted that this action, initiated on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan, is part of the spirit of solidarity between the two brotherly countries.
