The Kingdom of Morocco strongly condemned the storming by Israeli forces of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and the attack and terrorization of worshipers during the holy month of Ramadan.
The Kingdom of Morocco, whose King Mohammed VI chairs the Al-Quds Committee, stressed the need to respect the legal, religious and historical situation of Al-Quds and the holy places and to avoid practices and violations that would destroy all the chances of peace in the region.
In a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, of which MoroccoLatestNews has received a copy, the Kingdom of Morocco has affirmed its rejection of such practices, which will only increase the complexity and tension of the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and undermine efforts to achieve calm and restore confidence.
