Three Moroccan teams stood out brilliantly and qualified for the international final of the prestigious World Robot Olympiad (WRO) competition, which will be held in Panama from November 7 to 9, 2023.
The WRO is a global robotics competition dedicated to science, technology and education, offering young people, aged 8 to 19, the opportunity to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills in a fun way. and captivating.
The WRO has a tradition of choosing an inspirational theme each year that motivates participating teams to explore new possibilities. This year, the WRO theme is “Connecting the World”. Thus, the three Moroccan teams distinguished themselves in different categories of the competition, demonstrating their expertise in robotics and their commitment to meeting current challenges.
In the Robomission Junior category, the 3M team from Casablanca qualified to represent Morocco internationally. Similarly, in the Robomission Elementary category, Casablanca’s Godzilla team also earned their place in the international finals. Finally, in the Future Innovators category, the Nova Explorers team from Tangier qualified with flying colors to join the other top teams in Panama.
By qualifying for the international final in Panama, Moroccan teams will have the opportunity to demonstrate their talent and skills in front of participants from all over the world.
