The Moroccan rider Abdelkebir Ouaddar was classified in the 3 rd position of the Show jumping Grand Prix of Gorla Minore in Italy (CSI4 *), held between May 12 and 16.
Ouaddar, in the saddle on Istanbull VH Oeievaarshof, finished 3rd after a jump-off with thirteen obstacles by realizing a time of 33s 94/100, indicates a press release from the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports (FRMSE), noting that the first place went to the world number one, the Swiss Steve Guerdat on Uranie De Belcour in 33s 32/100, ahead of the Italian Harry Allen riding Guinness in 33s 56/100.
Abdelkebir Ouaddar also finished 3rd in the Grand Prix (3 stars) of Lier in Belgium at the beginning of May, adds the FRMSE.
The other Moroccan riders, El Ghali Boukaa and Ali Al Ahrach have achieved beautiful courses among the fifty competitors qualified for this Grand Prix of Gorla Minore.
This competition takes place as part of the preparation of the national show jumping team made up of riders Abdelkebir Ouaddar, El Ghali Boukaa, Ali Al Ahrach and Samy Colman, for the Tokyo Olympic Games.
Other competitions are planned in Europe for the Moroccan team before the Olympic deadline.
