Moroccan international Nayef Aguerd, who has just joined London club West Ham in 2022, will play for the first time in his career in a UEFA Europa League Conference final after his team’s qualification this Thursday evening.
The native of Kenitra, who has become a pillar of his club, will therefore play the final of the UEFA Europa League Conference (UECL) on Wednesday June 7 in Prague against Fiorentina of Sofyan Amrabat who has already made the competition.
On Thursday, West Ham qualified for the semi-finals of European competition thanks to their victory against AZ Alkmaar by a score of 1-0 in the second leg. The Hammers had already taken the lead in the first leg with 2 goals to 1.
The match between Fiorentina and West Ham will be a highly anticipated meeting for football lovers, and especially for fans of the Moroccan team who will find two of the champions who marked the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
