Moroccan international Walid Cheddira officially signs for Napoli

Moroccan international striker Walid Cheddira has officially signed for Serie A champions Napoli after a successful season with Bari, the two Italian clubs have announced.

In a press release, SSC Napoli said on Sunday evening that it had definitively secured the services of Walid Cheddira from SSC Bari, indicating that the Moroccan international had been transferred to Frosinone Calcio on loan until June 30, 2024.

On this occasion, Serie B club Bari praised the performances of the 25-year-old Moroccan striker, noting that Cheddira had scored 28 goals and provided 10 assists in 75 matches.

At the same time, the Atlas Lion demonstrated a high level of fighting spirit during his participation in the Qatar World Cup with the Moroccan national team, which reached the semi-finals, continued the Italian club.

After some experience with local teams, Cheddira made his debut with Loreto, later landing at Sangiustese, then Parma in 2019 before joining Bari on loan in 2021.
