Moroccan international Anouar Tuhami, 28, has extended his contract with Spanish club Real Valladolid until 2025, his club announced on Friday.
The player suffered a serious injury in a friendly match against Osasuna with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in the knee.
Real Valladolid nevertheless counts on the player trained within the club, for the next season. The Spanish club announced in a press release that it had formalized an agreement with the player concluded last September.
Anouar Tuhami “will be one of the leaders of the locker room for the coming seasons,” said the same source.
Anouar Tuhami has already played 112 official matches for Real Valladolid: 33 in the first division, 62 in the second division, 4 during the play-off for promotion to the first division and 13 in the Copa del Rey.
Real Valladolid, a team where Moroccans Selim Amallah and Jawad El Yamiq also play, will play next season in the second division of the Spanish championship.
