The Professional Association of Banks in Morocco has indicated that Monday, April 24 will be an exceptional day off, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
The Association of Moroccan Banks has sent a communication to institutions to inform their employees and customers of the suspension of work, and to take the necessary measures to ensure the availability of sufficient funds at ATMs in all regions of the Kingdom. .
This measure, which concerns the banking sector, comes after the government approved an exceptional leave in public administration on Monday.
For his part, Chakib Alj, president of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), called on private sector business leaders to take precedence over the government’s decision.
