A delegation of Moroccan and foreign auto-entrepreneurs and investors made, from March 26 to 28, a prospecting visit to Dakhla, in order to explore the investment and trade opportunities offered by this region.
More than 30 potential investors gathered, for three days in the Pearl of the South, on the occasion of the first edition of the Investment Opportunity Prospecting Weekends, to learn about business offers in the Dakhla region. -Wadi Eddahab.
They also held networking meetings and workshops supervised by managers from the Regional Investment Center (CRI) to identify investment opportunities in several productive sectors.
According to the organizers of this event, the region of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, by the multiple investment opportunities it presents and the modern infrastructure available to it, constitutes a suitable platform for companies wishing to develop and conquer new markets. new markets.
In a statement to MAP, the director of the CRI of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, Mounir Houari noted that the objective of this visit is to present to investors the potentialities of the region and the various investment opportunities in several sectors such as renewable energies, promotion of seafood, aquaculture, services and shops, as well as tourism.
Mr. Houari also said that this meeting aims to create B2B partnerships with local investors, the goal being to allow the realization of projects in several sectors.
In addition, he informed potential investors of the procedures for examining and validating investment files, as well as the role of the CRI in terms of investment support.
Field visits were also on the menu to present the major investment projects in the region.
Initiated by the association “Nord Sud Action” under the aegis of the Regional Council of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, “Prospecting weekends in Dakhla” is an event dedicated to exploring investment opportunities, with a view to giving a new impetus to the development dynamic experienced by the region.
This event, which was organized in partnership with the CRI of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab and with the support of the South Agency, aims to contribute to efforts aimed at making Dakhla a regional economic hub and a link between Morocco and its African depth.
The association “Nord Sud Action”, in partnership with the CRI, will organize every last weekend of the month, a meeting around investment in the region.
