The Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication said that the 28th edition of the International Publishing and Book Fair (SIEL-2023) in Rabat welcomed more than 75,000 visitors during the first five days of this cultural meeting.
During its first five days (June 2-6), the Fair, placed under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, attracted 75,858 visitors, an increase of 4% compared to the same period of the previous edition, the ministry said, noting that the number of visitors recorded on Tuesday alone reached 13,846.
Organized by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication in partnership with the Wilaya of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region and the Council of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, SIEL-2023, which continues until on June 11, is marked by the participation of 661 Moroccan and foreign writers, intellectuals and poets who will light up the sky of this renowned international fair with their intellectual contributions.
