The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) has mobilized more than 5,300 police officers, from the various security units and services, to secure the final of the Football Throne Cup for the 2021-2022 sports season which opposes, Saturday evening, the Raja of Casablanca to the Berkane Sports Renaissance at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat.
Thus, a central commission of the DGSN, carried out a field visit to the Prince Moulay Abdellah sports complex in order to inquire about the security protocol put in place by the Rabat police headquarters to accompany this sporting event and secure its various aspects. and organizational aspects.
During this visit, the Commission was informed of the measures and arrangements aimed at securing the surroundings of the Prince Moulay Abdellah sports complex, which is hosting this important sporting event.
The Commission also inquired about the deployment of the various police units and formations as well as the operational coordination techniques available to them before reviewing the intervention and emergency management plans.
The National Security services ensure comprehensive support for major events hosted by the Kingdom, in particular those of a sporting nature, through the deployment of security protocols intended to secure the arrival and departure of supporters as well as the structures , stadiums and equipment, while ensuring that security measures cover the entire urban area so as to preserve the fluidity of road traffic and traffic within the city and guarantee the safety of people and private and public properties.
These measures also contribute to the consecration of both the aura enjoyed by Morocco in terms of the organization of major events, and the confidence it enjoys on a regional and international scale.
