Soaring new cases of the coronavirus in the Casablanca-Settat region, which recorded more than 500 this Tuesday, April 6.
The most affected region is that of Casablanca-Settat which has 528 new cases including 363 in Casablanca, 46 in Nouaceur, 39 in Mohammadia, 29 in Settat, 23 in Berrechid, 15 in El Jadida, 9 in Médiouna, 2 in Benslimane and 2 to Sidi Bennour.
The second most affected region is that of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra which records 51 new contaminations including 27 in Kénitra, 8 in Sale, 6 in Skhirate-Témara, 5 in Rabat, 4 in Sidi Kacem and 1 in Khemisset.
Rabat-Salé-Kénitra is followed by that of Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima which identifies 31 new cases distributed as follows: 14 in Tanger-Assilah, 8 in M’diq Fnideq, 7 in Larache, 1 in Al Hoceima and 1 in Tétouan .
4th region most affected by new cases is that of Marrakech-Safi in Marrakech (18), Rehmana (2) and Safi (1).
For its part, the Oriental notes 17 new contaminations including 13 in Oujda-Angad, 3 in Taourirt and 1 in Berkane, while that of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab has 14 in Oued Ed-Dahab as well as Souss-Massa ( 7 in Tiznit, 4 in Agadir, 2 in Taroudant and 1 in Inezgane).
6 new cases were observed in the regions of Beni Mellal-Khénifra (5 in Khouribga and 1 in Béni Mellal) and Daraâ-Tafilalet in Errachidia.
Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra has 5 new cases in Laâyoune (4) and Boujdour (1). The last region to count new cases is that of Fès-Meknes with 3 including 2 in Meknes and 1 in Fez.
