As a preview at the MEGARAMA in Casablanca, the Showreel Morocco evening took place this Monday, May 8, as a pre-event for the 2023 Impériales.
Since 2019, the Casablanca multiplex has been associated with the event, through the organization of a screening of all the campaigns that have subscribed to the STARS, the most prestigious trophy in the Communication sector which rewards the best campaigns and advertising actions of the year, in 8 categories and 49 distinct sub-categories.
More than 250 subscriptions, 113 campaigns and 75 brands
On the strength of its growing success year after year, the Race for Stars attracted some 254 subscriptions for this 6th edition, corresponding to 113 advertising campaigns, representing 75 brands. A total of 30 subscribers joined the Les ÉTOILES 2023 Trophies, including 26 agencies and 4 brand-advertisers.
Prizes for Professionals and the Public
For the second consecutive year, Showreel Morocco renewed the Voting of Professionals, invited to participate during the screening. This vote will be the subject of a Les Étoiles Prize in the “SPECIAL” category during the Les Étoiles Ceremony.
This year, the general public was also invited to express themselves, through the Public Vote, by connecting to the event website, www.lesimperiales.com.
A secure electronic platform for voting
In order to simplify the task of the jury and the voters, a new electronic platform has been developed and implemented by the Association Les Impériales. It reforms the voting process, which thus becomes electronic, faster and secure.
As a reminder, the 6th edition of the Les Impériales event, placed under the high patronage of King Mohammed VI, continues until May 12 at the Carré d’Or in Casablanca with the inspiring theme “Breaking boundaries, a matter of mindset”. .
