The Consulate General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Pontoise organized, on Saturday, a new consular trip to Carrières-sous-Poissy for the benefit of Moroccan nationals residing in the Department of Yvelines.

A press release from the diplomatic representation notes that this mobile consulate intervenes in application of the guidelines of King Mohammed VI surrounding the Moroccan community established abroad with His benevolent solicitude and within the framework of Operation Marhaba 2023.

This operation, organized with the support of the Town Hall of Carrières-sous-Poissy, made it possible to provide various local consular services and services to Moroccans, who came in large numbers, including the delivery and request for biometric passports and national identity cards. electronics, transcription of births, legalization of signatures, withdrawal of adoular acts as well as legal advice.

On this occasion, the press release adds, the Consul General of Morocco in Pontoise, Salah Eddine Taouis, had discussions with actors from the Moroccan associative fabric as well as with the mayor of the city, Eddie Ait, and his first deputy, Laila. Ouakka, in particular on the situation of the Moroccan community established in this city.

This operation is part of a series of four mobile consulates scheduled for this month of June by the Consulate General of the Kingdom in Pontoise for the benefit of members of the Moroccan community. After the one organized in Evreux (department of Eure), two other similar operations are planned, one in Nogent-sur-Oise (department of Oise) on June 17 and the other in Rouen (Department of Seine Maritime) June 24.
