Mobile consulate for the benefit of Moroccans established in Grenoble

A mobile consulate was organized on Saturday in Grenoble, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in order to bring consular services closer to members of the Moroccan community established in this region.

A press release from the Consulate General of Morocco in Lyon indicates that this consular mission is part of the trips and field visits to the various departments of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

This mobile consulate, he noted, mobilized a consular staff of ten people.

Thus, and following the announcement of the official launch of Operation Marhaba-2022, hundreds of members of the Moroccan community residing in Grenoble and its surroundings have benefited from various consular services, including the delivery of official documents such as passports , national electronic identity cards, notarial and adoular deeds.

On this occasion, the Consul General, Zouhair Jibraili met many associative actors active in the cultural, artistic and sports fields with whom he discussed ways and means to bring the administration closer to the Moroccans established in Isère, a department which has a high concentration of Moroccan nationals, the statement added.

The diplomat also met with many local elected officials, including the mayor of the commune of Echirolle, Renzo Sulli and his first deputy, with whom he discussed various aspects of decentralized cooperation between the city of Grenoble, the municipality of the town of Echirolle and the Consulate General of the Kingdom in Lyon.
