“The website includes an archaeological map of Morocco, which contains more than 150 buildings and archaeological sites,” according to MYCC post on X.
MYCC also said that the new platform provides information about the buildings and archeological sites “regarding the date of their establishment, the decision to register them as national heritage, as well as their current status.”
The information system for Moroccan Tangible heritage will enable its users to explore and understand more about the tangible cultural heritage of the country in an innovative way, according to the promotional video.
The website aims to facilitate the search for archeological sites and monuments located in Morocco. It will also provide pictures and interesting information about each site.
This project is part of the Ministry’s diligent work to protect and promote Morocco’s cultural heritage.
