Microdata: decrease in net income of 17.1% in the first half

Microdata’s net income stood at MAD 40.5 million (MDH) in the first half of 2021, down 17.1% compared to the same period a year earlier, according to its half-year results at 30 June 2021.

The turnover achieved by Microdata during this semester amounted to MAD 365.7 million, down 12.7% compared to the first semester of 2020, despite a good recovery in activity in the 2nd quarter of 2021 and in difficult health and economic conditions caused by the Covid-19 epidemic.

Microdata explains this decline by the decline in commercial activity, observed in the first quarter of 2021.

The operating result recorded a variation of -16.6% compared to the first half of 2020, reaching 60.4 million dirhams, in line with the evolution of turnover in the first half of 2021, adds the same. source.

On the other hand, Microdata reports that it is still not consolidating its DGSM subsidiary due to the insignificant nature of its main financial indicators.

As of June 30, 2021, DGSM’s turnover represents less than 0.2% of Microdata’s half-year turnover.
