Among Muslims, Jean-Luc Mélenchon is very far (69%) ahead of Emmanuel Macron (14%) then the RN candidate (7%).

The choice of Protestants fell first on the outgoing president (36%), then on Marine Le Pen (17%) and thirdly on Jean-Luc Mélenchon (16%), according to this study.

The survey was conducted on Sunday among 3,784 people registered on the electoral lists, from a sample of 4,066 people, representative of French people aged 18 and over, according to the quota method. Margin of error between 0.7 and 1.6 points.

In 2017, according to a previous Ifop poll, the entire Catholic electorate (practicing or not) had placed the LR candidate François Fillon at 28%, ahead of the candidate of En Marche! and the president of the FN tied at 22%.

Among Muslims, the candidate La France insoumise was already in the lead, at 37%.
