Last Sunday, the festivities marking the National Day of the Kingdom of Morocco were launched at the Expo 2020 Universal Exhibition in Dubai. For Mehdi Qotbi, president of the National Museum Foundation (FNM), it is the world which “today solemnly celebrates the Kingdom through large-scale shows, including that of the Royal Air Force (FRA) which” illuminated the sky of Dubai of a thousand Moroccan stars ”.
Rejoicing to be “witness of such a magnificent spectacle” which honors the Kingdom, Qotbi considered that this is “an extraordinary moment and a consecration”.
The president of the FNM also underlined that “the joy is all the greater to see the exhibition organized by the FNM adorning the Moroccan pavilion, with artists, colors as well as the history of Moroccan painting”.
In this sense, he noted the aesthetic beauty of the various pavilions present at Expo 2020 Dubai, in particular those of the State of the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
As a reminder, a high-level Moroccan delegation, chaired by the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch and composed in particular of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Nasser Bourita and the Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah Alaoui, curator of the Moroccan pavilion, took part in the official celebrations of the National Day of Morocco at the Universal Exhibition Dubai 2020.
Emirati personalities were also present, including Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technologies, Sheikh Ahmed bin Said al-Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, CEO of the airline. Emirates Airline and Chairman of the High Committee for Expo 2020 Dubai, and Reem Al Hashimi, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director of the Exhibition.
Expo 2020 Dubai is seen as an incubator of the most influential ideas that inspires realistic solutions to global challenges. This international event is the first of its kind to be organized in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region.
