The Speaker of the House of Councilors, Enaam Mayara, is making a working visit to the Republic of Panama on Thursday and Friday, at the head of a parliamentary delegation.
On the sidelines of this visit, the parliamentary delegation will take part in the inauguration ceremony of the extension of the space of the King Mohammed VI Library at the seat of the Parliament of Latin America and the Caribbean, indicated the House of Councilors in a statement.
In addition, Mayara will participate in the work of the Annual General Assembly of the Latin American and Caribbean Parliament, adds the same source, indicating that he will deliver a speech on behalf of Morocco during the plenary session.
This visit also constitutes the occasion of the holding of the summit of the Parliamentary Forum of the countries of Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, with the participation of the presidents of the regional and interregional Unions at the African and Latin American levels, according to the press release. .
The parliamentary delegation notably includes the first vice-president of the House of Councillors, Mohamed Hanine and other members of the House.
