The regional director of health and social protection in Marrakech-Safi, Lamia Chakiri, knew that with 3,116,852 first-vaccinated, the Marrakech-Safi region reached 84.37% of the target population within the framework of of the national anti-covid vaccination campaign.
In this sense, she specified that out of 3,684,309 target people aged over 12 in this part of the country, some 3,116,852 received their first dose of anti-Covid-19 vaccines, thanks to the constant mobilization of all stakeholders who contribute to the success of this vaccination campaign at the regional level.
In order to maintain this pace and achieve collective immunity at both regional and national levels, the official urged people not yet vaccinated to go to one of the nearest vaccinodromes, stressing that the vaccination centers anti-Covid-19 remain open until 8:00 p.m. in order to allow all people to benefit from the vaccine.
The health services have mobilized mobile vaccination units that crisscross the remote areas of the Marrakech-Safi region, she said.
The vaccine campaign is a real response to end the acute phase of the pandemic and return to normal life, she recalled.
Note that the national vaccination campaign aims to cover the population with a vaccine as an appropriate means of immunization against the virus and control of its spread.
