Great consecration for Majid El Bouazzaoui. The Moroccan inventor, holder of numerous prizes abroad, has just added to his prize list that of the “Future Award”, during the 34th edition of the World Genius Convention (WGC) in Japan, organized by the International Institute of Invention and Innovation (IIII).
The World Genius Convention was marked by the participation of 13 of the most innovative countries in the world including Morocco represented by Majid El Bouazzaoui through the invention of a new concept of “electric car without batteries”.
“Batteries are the most expensive part of electric cars (cost between 5,000 and 15,000 dollars), must be recharged constantly and pollute the environment”, said Wednesday a press release from the actor of the innovation ecosystem in Morocco OFEED.
Thus, this invention proposes the use of two elements: it is an electromagnetic field outside the car, in particular a coil placed in the road (road coil), connected to an electric generator using clean energies, thus than a coil that should be placed in this electromagnetic field (car coil), in the lower part of the car, to be as close as possible to the electromagnetic field (of the road coil).
“It is well known that if a conductor passes through a magnetic field, there will be an induced current in that conductor. In this way, electrical energy will be produced and will always be available in the car for all its electrical equipment ”, OFEED explained.
The invention “electric car without batteries” has several advantages, including avoiding environmental pollution by using clean energy to generate an electromagnetic field (in the road coils), disposing electric cars with electricity without using batteries and making the price of electric cars “much cheaper”.
The Moroccan association OFEED aims to support the plans and strategies of the government, to make Morocco a major player at the global level in the field of innovation and creativity, and to contribute to the development of the intangible capital which constitutes the first and inexhaustible wealth of the Kingdom.
in 2019, El Bouazzaoui won the Grand Prix of the international competition for inventions “iCAN-2019”. The Moroccan also won a gold medal for Morocco at IIIC in November 2018.
