The Hassan II Foundation for Moroccans Living Abroad (MRE), has announced that the 23rd edition of the Cultural Stay will take place in two periods, from July 21 to August 3 and then from August 6 to 19, 2022, in the site of International University of Rabat.
A press release from the Foundation specifies that this cultural stay has enabled the children of MREs, since 1998, to discover, in a playful way, Moroccan culture in its diversity and to maintain their links with Morocco as their country of origin.
In this perspective, we note, the 23rd edition will receive 600 Moroccan children, girls and boys, aged 9 to 11, from different countries, namely France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, the United States, Great Britain, Saudi Arabia, Mauritania, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Gabon, Gambia, Tunisia and Algeria.
An educational and cultural program, which includes games, traditional dances and music from different regions of Morocco, has been adopted with the aim of bringing children closer to Moroccan culture through entertaining processes, the statement added.
Sports activities (Handball, Football, Archery, Table tennis, etc.) and cultural visits (Chellah, Mausoleum Mohammed V, Hassan Tower, Mechouar, Medina of Rabat, Marina de Salé, etc.) are also scheduled. ).
