The Champions League returns on Tuesday when many teams will have to confirm with only two matchdays to play in the group stage, before the round of 16.
In addition to Ajax, Bayern, Juventus and Liverpool, already qualified, several teams can validate their tickets for the knockout stages of the Champions League on the occasion of the 5th and penultimate day of the group stage, namely Paris Saint-Germain of Achraf Hakimi, Sevilla FC of Bounou, El Haddadi and En-Nesyri or even Chelsea of Hakim Ziyech.
Indeed, Thomas Tuchel’s team welcomes Juventus to Stamford Bride in Group H of the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The Blues occupy second place in the group, three points behind Juventus, but only need one point to secure their place in the round of 16.
Changes are expected to be made to Tuchel’s starting XI to face the Serie A team, such as the possible tenure of the Morocco international after his impressive appearance in the game against Leicester last weekend in which he was the author of an assist.

For its part, Paris Saint-Germain moves on the lawn of Manchester City, Wednesday, November 24 during the 5th day of the Champions League.
Two days from the end of the group stage, PSG and Manchester City face off for first place in Pool A at the Etihad Stadium. In the first leg, the Parisians won 2-0 after a festival against the Citizens.
Three weeks after its draw in Leipzig, Paris must offer a good result to validate its ticket for the final phase and steal the first place from City and will be able to count on Sergio Ramos, who will play his first match under the colors of Paris. Achraf Hakimi, indisputable holder, is also expected on the lawn to prove himself in LdC.

On the other hand, Sevilla and Wolfsburg will face each other on Matchday 5 of the Champions League. The Hispanics arrive in an extreme situation in this penultimate match of Group G, since they are last with 3 points and receive the German team, which occupies the third place with 5 points, tied with the French of Lille.
The Andalusians face the absence of their star, Moroccan Youssef En-Nesyri, with a knee injury, who also missed qualifying for the 2022 World Cup with the national team.
For his part, Munur El Haddadi does not fit into Julen Lopetegui’s plans and should not be the holder. Only Yassine Bounou will ensure the cages of Seville.

FC Barcelona will return to the pitch with a new spirit, guided by the arrival of Xavi, who managed his first game for Barcelona in their derby victory against Espanyol and hope to see more here by hosting Benfica in the the 5th day of the Champions League.
Taarabt’s Benfica will want to bring more of the team that scored ten in their last two competitive games and less of the team that left five against Bayern Munich, but as they could be absent from the Champions League with a loss here, that should provide enough motivation.
Benfica won the second leg by a score of 3-0 for their only Champions League win so far and are hoping for a Julian Weigl-led repeat that will set the pace for the defense.
Barcelona have also been an anemic attack with just seven shots on target in the Champions League. Only Malmö has less with four.

Bayern haven’t been ruthless in the last two games due to a host of issues and today, with a long list of injuries, the Bavarians will have a tough test ahead.
Ballon d’Or favorite Robert Lewandowski is expected to retain his extraordinary scoring form. Nevertheless, they are expected to win Kiev despite all the odds.
As for Manchester United, this is their first game after the departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and with the presence of goal machine Cristiano Ronaldo, the Reds are the favorites against Villarreal on Tuesday.
This week Madrid have to go to Tiraspol to win, to face a side that produced one of the great shocks of the modern Champions League by winning at the Bernabeu in September. The victory is in Madrid’s locker. And unless one of them gets injured this week, the victory can be won by the Casemiro-Kroos-Modric trio.
