African youth ministers attending the African Youth Ministerial Conference, held Tuesday in Rabat, hailed the efforts of King Mohammed VI in promoting youth issues.
The African ministers underlined, in the final communiqué sanctioning their work, that “all the initiatives and projects launched by Morocco, under the leadership of the King in the field of youth, deserve to be welcomed and constitute a model on the continental level, underlining the pioneering role of the Sovereign in Africa”.
The Pan African Youth Union (PJU), is of great importance at the continental level, as a credible continental institution, they also indicated in the statement quoted in a press release from the Ministry of Youth, Culture and of Communications.
While welcoming the momentum experienced by the Union since the establishment of its headquarters in Rabat, the African Ministers of Youth also insisted on the need to adopt the African Youth Charter, which was adopted in 2022 by Morocco and constitutes a roadmap in the field of youth action in Africa.
