King visits earthquake victims at Marrakech hospital, donates blood

King Mohammed VI visited the “Mohammed VI” University Hospital Center in Marrakech on Tuesday afternoon.

During the visit, he assessed the health status of the victims affected by the earthquake that struck on Friday, and made a blood donation.

The King inspected the intensive care and recovery units, where earthquake victims are undergoing medical treatment.

He spoke with patients about their conditions and inquiring about the healthcare services provided by the medical teams in response to quacke.

Approximately 2,171 injured individuals have been admitted to various medical facilities in the Marrakech-Safi region, including 484 with severe injuries and 1,570 with minor injuries. Currently, 248 individuals remain hospitalised for ongoing treatment.

During the visit, King Mohammed VIexpressing full solidarity and compassion toward the grieving victims and their families.
