King Mohammed VI appointed Thursday Faouzi Lakjaa, Minister Delegate in charge of Budget and President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation Chairman of the 2030 World Cup Committee.
The Royal Court statement stated that this appointment comes after the FIFA Council unanimously selected the Morocco-Spain-Portugal file as the sole candidate to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
