Thus, ONSSA has decided to strengthen the control of all Kinder brand products on importation in addition to the immediate withdrawal from the marketing circuit of batches of suspected products at the level of importers and distribution brands.
Due to a suspected infection with the Salmonella Typhimurium bacterium, responsible for food poisoning, certain batches of the Kinder chocolate brand with the following references:
-Kinder Surprise 20g (by one, by three, by four and by six) and 100g with expiry dates between the end of June 2022 and the end of October 2022.
-Kinder Schoko-Bons with expiry dates between the end of April and the end of August 2022.
-Kinder Mini Eggs with best before dates between late April and late August.
-Kinder Happy Moments, Kinder Mix with expiry dates at the end of August 2022
The National Food Safety Office (ONSSA) immediately took emergency measures which consist of:
– The strengthening of the control of all the products of the company Ferrero at the import in order to avoid the introduction of the batches of these products on the national market;
-The immediate withdrawal from the marketing circuit at the level of importers and distribution brands of all batches of the products concerned.
Furthermore, and as a precautionary measure, ONSSA invites consumers not to buy the products whose references are indicated above and asks those in possession of them not to consume them.
