Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2025.
The Belgium international, whose existing deal was set to expire in 2023, turns 30 in June and now looks set to make most of the rest of his career at the Etihad.
De Bruyne has been a key player in Pep Guardiola’s midfielder in recent years. He gained in quality under the Spaniard, becoming one of the best midfielders in the world.
De Bruyne has had a shining charm since joining the club from Wolfsburg in 2015, winning seven major trophies, which could increase to 11 by the end of the season if City succeed in their quadruple hunt.

βThis football club is all about success. He gives me everything I need to maximize my performance, so signing this contract was a simple decision. I am playing the best football of my career and I honestly feel that there is more to come β, he added.
