A press release from the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) indicates that elements of the tourist police brigade had thwarted an operation to smuggle drug cargoes seized in the coastal area of Saïdia on Friday morning, packed in 94 bundles. with a total weight of 4.3 tonnes, abandoned by traffickers following the intervention of police elements.
The DGSN also specifies that the Saïdia judicial police brigade is continuing, under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, the research and investigations in the context of this case in order to arrest the people involved in the activities of this criminal network and to determine the possible ramifications of this criminal activity at the national and international levels.
