JS Kabylie can finally breathe. Threatened by the closure of the borders between Morocco and Algeria, the Algerian club considered withdrawing from its match against AS FAR in Rabat in the CAF Cup, after not having received any assistance from the country’s government. However, it seems that the situation has settled, with the Kabylie formation ready to take off for the Kingdom on Wednesday.
The rupture of diplomatic relations between Morocco and Algeria will not visibly prevent the Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie from going to Rabat to face the FAR Sports Association, for its match in the second round of the 2022 edition of the Cup. CAF, scheduled for October 16, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Complex.
Indeed, the leaders of JS Kabylie, who had asked for help from the FAF and the country’s Ministry of Sports and Youth following the closure of the borders between the two Maghreb countries, without success, have found an ingenious solution.
According to the Algerian press, the JSK will take a plane to Tunis before finally boarding a regular flight on the RTunis-Casablanca line on Wednesday, in order to have time to actively prepare for the meeting, during the four days which will precede it.
