José Mourinho quickly left FC unemployed. A few weeks after being sacked from his coaching position at Tottenham Hotspur, the Portuguese technician has already found something to suit him and should take over the reins of AS Roma next season.
José Mourinho marks his return to Serie A and is committed as the new manager of AS Roma from next season, the Italian giant announced in a statement.
“AS Roma are delighted to announce that José Mourinho will be the new technical director of the first team from the 2021-22 season. An agreement has been reached with the coach who will bind him to the club until June 30, 2024 ″, wrote the club.

The Portuguese was crowned double winner of the Champions League with Porto (2004) and Inter Milan (2010). In two seasons with Inter, from 2008 to 2010, he thus gleaned two Italian league titles, an Italian Cup, an Italian Supercup and especially the C1, the last coronation of an Italian team in the competition.
Currently 7th in Serie A, 9 points behind their rival, Lazio, yet with one more game played, AS Roma no longer has any chance of qualifying for the Champions League.
