Provide students with a wide range of insurance services, this is the objective of the framework partnership agreement, signed between Sultan Moulay Slimane University (USMS) and the Moroccan Central Insurance Mutual, within the framework of the strengthening of collaboration in the service of projects of common interest.
A press release from the USMS specifies that several actions are planned under this agreement, namely to allow university students to benefit from school liability insurance including insurance for end-of-study internships and to offer to university administrators and teachers of automobile damage and multi-risk home insurance products.
Among other benefits, students will also benefit from the school liability guarantee which covers students with regard to their civil liability relating to bodily injury and material damage, food poisoning and third party recourse.
It is also a question of additional contractual indemnities, namely, death, permanent incapacity, medical and pharmaceutical costs, dental prosthesis, eyewear and medical transport.
The press release also indicates that this framework partnership agreement is also extended to outings outside the establishment organized under the control of the administration on national territory, to internships carried out by students, noting that it also applies to courses or on the occasion of student life including studies, breaks, educational and recreational activities of the establishment or organized by it and of the journey that the insured students make between their home and their place of activity and vice versa.
