Instagram has made its own again. The social network belonging to Facebook stopped functioning correctly, this Thursday, September 02, in the morning for some users around the world.
Instagram is facing a widespread outage that affected several users on Thursday morning. According to the publications of Internet users on other social networks, Instagram is currently down in various countries of the world.
While the social network partially works for some users, others cannot access any of the app’s features. In some cases, users have received a message telling them to “try again later” and that some application functionality has been limited.
According to the independent website DownDetector, which tracks customer reports on social media to monitor web service performance, more than 6,000 Instagram users have taken to social media to complain about issues with the service. However, despite what the error message says, the issue is not with the user’s account.
Several Internet users, especially those of Twitter, amused themselves by the situation while the hashtag “Instagram down” (Instagram down, editor’s note) was created to denounce the lack of responsiveness of the social network. For the moment, Instagram does not know yet expressed on the situation.
