The National Institute of Hygiene (INH) under the Ministry of Health and Social Protection has obtained, for the 6th consecutive year, the certification of its quality management system (QMS) according to the ISO 9001 standard.
With this certification awarded by the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification (AENOR), the INH confirms its desire to be part of a strategy of continuous improvement in order to offer its customers a quality of service that meets the best standards. international.
In 2021, as for 2020, the certification audit covered the entire QMS of the INH but it mainly focused on the management of the COVID pandemic with all its components, namely the improvement of the level of performance of the services provided by the laboratory, the development of participatory management and the strengthening of customer satisfaction.
During the audit, many strong points were raised, in particular the effective commitment of the INH management and the involvement of all the staff in order to succeed in the project to maintain and improve the QMS in of a pandemic, despite the various obstacles encountered. At the same time, certain positive recommendations were proposed by the auditor, essentially aimed at maintaining the improvement in performance acquired.
