As part of the acceleration of the pace of the anti-covid vaccination campaign, the Ministry of Health launched the second digital and integrated vaccination center at the national level, in Bab Lamrissa Square on the outskirts of Salé.
This vaccination center, which was inaugurated this Tuesday, August 24 by the Minister of Health, Khaled Ait Taleb, is the largest of its kind in the city of Salé. It was erected on an area of 2,200 m² and will guarantee the vaccination of 3,000 to 4,000 people per day, through a fully digital process.
In a statement to MoroccoLatestNews FR, Khalid Ait Taleb explained that “ the opening of this integrated vaccination center near the city of Rabat, will allow a certain number of citizens to benefit from the vaccine in safe, comfortable and fluid conditions“.

The government official continued in this sense that ” The vaccination process will take place under good conditions, as it will not exceed 40 minutes per person“, Noting that” this process will concern all citizens in order to achieve the objectives desired by King Mohammed VI, in particular, to achieve collective immunity“.
Ait Taleb recalled in the same wake that ” Morocco leads the African continent in terms of the number of people vaccinated: 17.5 million beneficiaries of the first dose of the vaccine and 13 million fully vaccinateds ”.
It should be noted that this vaccination center is equipped with a QR code system which allows the traceability of citizens throughout the vaccination circuit, from registration, through screening, to the injection of information. which will facilitate the monitoring of the pace of the process on a daily basis.
In addition, the center has several characteristics that make it a totally controlled environment, thanks to intelligent sensors that allow the control of the vaccine cold chain, the supervision, management and analysis of medical, environmental and logistical data, explained the minister.
The creation of this vaccination center in the city of Salé will help strengthen the influence of the Kingdom of Morocco as a model in the response to the Covid-19 pandemic and its effects, and will strengthen Morocco’s ambition to achieve a single health sovereignty.
