The French Institute of Morocco (IFM) is associated with the 7th edition of the Night of Ideas which will take place on January 27 on the theme “(Re)building together” in Morocco and in more than 100 countries in the world.
Initiated by France in 2016 and led by French Institutes around the world, the Night of Ideas is an invitation to question the major issues of our time, indicates the IFM, noting that this international event designed to share, debate and raising awareness, is an opportunity to enhance the intellectual and cultural scenes around the world.
While the global health crisis continues to rage in many countries, prohibiting large gatherings and restricting international mobility, this operation reaffirms in Morocco for the fourth consecutive year the resilience of the circulation of ideas and knowledge in these times of chronic pandemic. , as well as the need to debate at a time when ecological, health, economic, social and identity crises are breaking down borders and questioning our contemporary societies, further raises IFM.
The event will take place at the French Institutes of Casablanca, Marrakech, Meknes and Tetouan, with a rich program focused on reconstruction, which will bring together leading intellectual personalities from the world of arts, letters, sciences, journalism and commitment.
