After an exceptional year 2022 for Hyundai Morocco with a progression which exceeded the general trend of the market, the Korean brand continues its emergence, and shows a positive balance sheet for this beginning of the year 2023 with a sales volume of more than 1,600 Units sold in January 2023.
Thus, Hyundai consolidates its position as the preferred brand of Moroccans, thanks to a remarkable performance despite the variability that weighs on the automotive industry. Hyundai Morocco achieves growth of +3% and a record market share of more than 14% during the month of January 2023.
A success driven by a diversified range with innovative technology and futuristic designs offered to meet the expectations of all its customers, thanks to which Hyundai maintains its 3rd position as the best-selling brand on the Moroccan automotive market.
Indeed, the results for the month of January 2023 also reinforce Hyundai’s position as a leader in the SUV segment. Thanks in particular to its emblematic model, the Hyundai Tucson, which sits in first place in sales in its segment on a national scale, followed by the Creta model, which also experienced an exceptional increase of +80% compared to January 2022, as well as the Kona and Santa Fe which are also well positioned in their respective segments.
Finally, the brand’s electric car with international success: The IONIQ5, has established itself in the electric segment in Morocco and recorded satisfactory results.
In 2023, the brand plans to introduce two new electric models, namely the IONIQ6 and IONIQ 7, in order to offer an expanded and innovative offer in terms of electric vehicles.
In harmony with current environmental challenges, and in order to support changes in the consumption habits of Moroccans who are increasingly responsible and looking for savings and reliability, Hyundai offers a renewed and expanded Hybrid range which has quickly convinced Moroccans by recording an evolution of + 600% compared to January 2022.
