The Confederation of African Football (CAF) gave more details on the date of the announcement of the host country of the next CAN 2025 to which Morocco is a candidate.
In a statement, CAF said Thursday that the host countries for the 2025 and 2027 editions will be announced at the same time, before September.
Several sources are counting on an announcement in July to know which countries have been selected to organize the most important competition in African football.
For the 2025 edition, there are 4 candidate files, including Morocco, Algeria, Zambia and the Nigeria-Benin duo.
An Inspection Commission of the African Confederation made a tour between March 20 and April 2 in the various countries in the running to inspect the infrastructures and grounds that will host the competitions.
