Here is the date of Badr Hari’s next fight

The date of Badr Hari’s next fight is known. The Moroccan kickboxer will face Alistair Overeem on October 8 and is set to take place at the GelreDome stadium in Arnhem, Netherlands, Glory announced.

In their first meeting, Overeem knocked out Hari in the first round at K-1 Dynamite in December 2008. Hari returned the favor almost a year later at the K-1 World Grand Prix in December 2009, the referee stopping the fight after several knockdowns.

Alistair Overeem will thus make his big debut in Glory, when he was supposed to face Rico Verhoeven, in October 2021. He had then withdrawn for injury.

Hari is set to make his 126th kickboxing appearance as he hopes to claim victory No. 107. The 37-year-old will be looking to win his first fight for the first time in almost six years, as his last with Arkadiusz Wrzosek ended in a no-contest after a riot escalated in the crowd.

A true kickboxing legend, Hari is going through a difficult patch. Indeed, the so-called Golden Boy has not won since 2015. He comes out of four defeats and a no contest. However, despite these poor performances, the hope of a return of the Moroccan to the highest level is still present.
