The Film Production Aid Commission, which held its first session from March 27 to April 1, unveiled the film projects eligible for the advance on receipts for the 1st session of the year 2023.

a press release from the Moroccan Cinematographic Center (CCM), indicates that during this session, the Commission examined for the advance on receipts (after production), a feature film, a documentary on culture, history and space saharaoui hassani and 4 short films.

It was also examined for the advance on receipts before production of 22 feature film projects, 2 short film projects, 3 documentary projects and 4 projects for the contribution to the writing of the script, adds the CCM , noting that in the category of documentaries on Saharawi Hassani culture, history and space, the Commission examined 36 candidate projects in advance of receipts before production.

At the end of its deliberations, the Commission decided to grant, in the category of fiction films, an advance on receipts (after production) of an amount of 700,000 dirhams to the feature film entitled “Habiba, a love in confinement” presented by the company “Plug-On Production” and directed by Hassan Benjelloun, from his own script.

In addition, an amount of 150,000 is granted to the short film entitled “En route”, presented by the company “Ma-Films” and directed by Munir Mohamed Abbar, according to the screenplay by Younes Bouab, and an equivalent amount is granted to the short film entitled “Moul Tilifoune-Phone Breaker” presented by the company “Caestus Films” and directed by Hamza Atifi, from his own script.

Also, the Commission decided to grant an amount of 150,000 DH to the short film entitled “Palmier D’amour”, presented by the company “Plot Pictures” and directed by Hiba Chaari, from the scenario of Abdellatif Najib.

Similarly, an amount of 100,000 DH is granted to the short film entitled “L’ombre De L’âme” presented by the company “Matrice Media” directed by Hossein Al Malki, from the scenario of Mohamed Lamouissi.

In the same category, the Commission decided to grant an advance on receipts (before production) of an amount of 4,300,000 to the feature film project entitled “Un Amour à Dakhla”, presented by the company “Als Media ” and which will be directed by Khalid Brahimi, from the screenplay by Abdelilah Hamdouchi.

An amount of 4,000,000 DH is granted to the feature film project entitled “Casablanca/Dakar”, presented by the company “Boulane O’byrne Production” and which will be directed by Ahmed Boulane, according to his own script.

The same amount is allocated to the feature film project entitled “The Man of Signs”, presented by the company “Z Films” and which will be directed by Zhor Fassi-Fihri, based on his own script.

In addition, an amount of 2,450,000 DH is granted to the feature film project entitled “Radia”, presented by the company “Yaz’image” and which will be directed by Khaoula Assebbab, according to his own script.

An amount of 2,450,000 DH will also be allocated to the feature film project entitled “Aux Couleurs”, presented by the company “Ozz Films” and which will be directed by Wadii Charrad, from the screenplay by Reda Ahmed El Achir and Wadi Charrad.

On the other hand, an amount of 800,000 DH is granted to the documentary film project entitled “Les Mille Et Un Jour Du Hajj Edmond”, presented by the company “Iris Prod” and which will be directed by Simone Bitton, according to her own scenario.

In addition, 150,000 DH will be granted to the short film project entitled “Rusty Life”, presented by the company “Cygnus Productions” and which will be directed by Ouijdane Khallid, according to his own script.

In addition, the Commission has decided to grant, as a contribution to the rewriting of the script, an amount of 50,000 DH to the feature film project entitled “Bad Weather”, presented by the company “Cygnus Productions” and which will be produced by El Ghazouani Madane, from his own screenplay.

A budget of 50,000 DH is also granted to the feature film project entitled “Chironomus Ou Karyan Saada”, presented by the company “Ounsa Media Film” and which will be directed by Hicham El Jabbari, from the screenplay by Ahmed Medfai .

Also, an amount of 50,000 DH is granted to the feature film project entitled “Les Enfants De Nos Terres”, presented by the company “New Generations Pictures” and which will be directed by Ayoub Qanir, according to the scenario of Abdelilah Hamdouchi.

In addition, the Commission has decided to grant, as a contribution to scriptwriting, an amount of 50,000 DH to the feature film project entitled “The Shoemaker” presented by the company “Ouarzazate Action”, according to the screenplay by Tawfik Baba.

With regard to documentaries on Hassani Saharawi culture, history and space, an advance on receipts before production of an amount of one million dirhams is granted to the documentary project entitled “القبر المجهول”, presented by the company “Laayoune Pro” and which will be directed by Younes Bouhmala, according to the scenario of Mohamed Mouloud El Ahmadi, underlines the press release, noting that an advance on receipts of an amount of one million dirhams is granted to the project of documentary entitled “الصرع”, presented by the company “Zarmedia” and which will be directed by Lotfi Ait Jaoui, from the screenplay by Ahmed Zergane.

One million dirhams is also allocated to the documentary project entitled “الشايعة”, presented by the company “Plot Pictures” and which will be directed by Zaynab Toubali, from the screenplay by Mouttouha Boulliha.

The CCM also informs that an amount of 950,000 DH is granted to the documentary project entitled “هذا البحر لي”, presented by the company “Tires Production” and which will be produced by Salem Ballal, according to his own script.

Also, an amount of 910,000 DH is granted to the documentary project entitled “رحلة ماء”, presented by the company “Media Prod” and which will be directed by Fouad Souiba, according to the scenario of Moulid Ezzahir.

In addition, the Commission has decided to grant, as a contribution to the rewriting of the script, an amount of 40,000 DH to the documentary project entitled “Dalala”, presented by the company “7th Art Production” and which will be directed by Youssef Ait Mansour, from the screenplay by Abdelkader Atouife.

Chaired by Bahaa Trabelsi, President of the Commission, this session took place in the presence of Bouchra Boulouiz, Sanae Ghouati, Jihane Bougrine, Saadia Attaoui, Latifa Moftaqir, Khadija Feddi, Hassan Chaoui, Abdellah Abo-Awad, Maati Quandil and Said Zribiaa .
