Morocco has registered 787 new cases carrying the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total of cases recorded at the national level since the start of the epidemic to 1,251,297.
Currently, the total active cases rise to 14,861, among them, 138 cases are in serious condition. Second region in the ranking, the Greater Casablanca-Settat region with a total of 159 cases, 99 of which are located in Casablanca.
For its part, the Marrakech-Safi region recorded a balance sheet of 86 infections, including 46 in Marrakech. Souss -Massa recorded 79 of which 42 infections are located in Agadir-Ida -Ou-Tanane.
Follows, Fez-Meknes with 73 infections of which 39 are in Fez. The Oriental region, for its part, has 63 cases (24 in Nador).
Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima has recorded 54 infections, including 16 in Tetouan, followed by the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region with 19 cases. The least affected regions are Draâ-Tafilalet (18), Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (9), Guelmim -Oued Noun (6), Laâyoune -Sakia El Hamra (4).
